ABOUT / KOA BUILD
Experience you can build on.
EVAN DEHART
The person behind KOA.
I’m Evan DeHart, the person behind KOA Build.
Starting this company felt like a natural next step — a chance to bring my experience together and give each project the attention it deserves.
I’ve always believed that good construction is built on good relationships. Being honest, transparent, respectful, and kind matters to me just as much as the finished product. I want the people involved to feel informed, heard, and confident in the process — and, ideally, to have some fun along the way.
Building something should be a good experience, not just a good end result.
FAMILY & PURPOSE
Why KOA?
Building my own company has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. The timing finally felt right.
Hawaii has been an important part of my family’s story. We lived and worked on O'ahu and Big Island, and it remains a place that means a great deal to us. KOA is a small nod to that chapter of our lives and to the idea of building with courage, purpose, and care.
